Established by Susan McCormack, who has 15 years’ experience co-ordinating the provision of sign language interpreting services in Ireland, having previously worked with the Centre for Sign Language Studies. Irish Sign Language Interpreting (ISLI) has evolved into a leading Sign Language Interpreting and Translation service provider, nationwide.
Our commitment is to provide an unrivalled service with focus on both our client’s and deaf service users’ needs. Our aim is to facilitate successful communication between Deaf and Hearing people in any setting. We offer an interpreting solution to a wide range of clients and situations. We understand that as an organisation you want to be confident in the quality of access you provide to your deaf student or staff, and that by contacting ISLI to deliver interpretation services you can achieve this goal expending a minimum of time and effort on your part, through our simple, seamless process.
We work and liaise with the Deaf community. We recognise the need and entitlement of Deaf and Hard of Hearing people to be able to communicate in their own language and we welcome the Irish Sign Language Act 2017 which provides for this. Our interpreters ensure that the Deaf community are allowed the opportunity to communicate and fully participate in society.
